On November 25th at 5:00 p.m. the Consulate of Mexico will commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. In collaboration with US Bank and Planned Parenthood, we will convene women whom the Consulate´s Department of Protection has assisted due to some situation of violence or context of vulnerability (Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, or cancer survivors); we consider that the economic empowerment of women and the creation of safe spaces are shared objectives, and we hope they will help to break circles of violence.
